My husband and I both LOVE this massage mat! He is a mechanic and his back always hurts; I sit at a desk all day, and my back also hurts. We use this mat every other day. It really has helped loosen up my back. It's relaxing and yet powerful - if you use it everyday it will make you sore. There is a rolling option and a shiatsu option. You can set it to work on your lower back, upper back, entire back. There is a spot option if you have one particular spot you need work on. There is a heat setting as well. The ONLY critical thing I can say about this mat is that it needs armrests. But if you put a pillow on either side of the mat to rest your arms on that helps. This mat is incredible. It massages the knots right out and loosens up your back. I use this about twice a week with the neck pillow that I purchased seperately by Homedics. I love that you can lie down while using this because it allows your entire body to relax. You can pause this so it repeatedly massages a problem area until the knot is worked out.
