This product helped me recover from an extreme case of C. difficile. While I was in the hospital over a year ago, my doctor recommended that I take it (along with the antibiotics I was on) indefinitely, and I have continued to take it. In fact, I have two bottles in my refrigerator at this very moment, because I do not want to be without any. My digestive system is more sensitive now, and this product has kept me from having to take another round of antibiotics. I highly recommend these probiotics to my family and friends whenever I hear them say that they are taking antibiotics or have gastrointestinal issues. Just look up "probiotics" to read about all of the good things they do. It is incredible!

My husband had multiple organ failure and had to be resusitated due to a c. diff infection (Clostridium difficile - see wikipedia). He'd been on antibiotics for pneumonia for over a year. The antibiotics killed the healthy flora in his intestines, and the antibiotic resistant c. diff took over. This is one of the probiotics that research shows will alter the c. diff and prevent it from reproducing. The other probiotics also help to repopulate the healthy flora and "regain" territory. If you're on antibiotics and get the runs, this one is a good idea.

My Dr reccomended a popular over-the-counter name brand probotic for my continuing gas problem. However I found that $17.00 for a packsge of 36 was a bit pricy for a probotic. Jarrows Product contains the same ingredient Saccraomyces Boulardii Plus Mos, similar in strength but containing 90 capsule for only $11.95.
More importently, my severe gas problem was gone within 24 hours after taking just 3 capsules. I've used Jarrow products in the past with great satisfaction.

Jarrow is now using vegetarian capsules for this product. Prior to this they used gelatin capsules, which is why I was not buying this product until now. In alternative medicine this product is said to prevent many bacterial infections, including Clostridium difficile.

this a fantastic probiotic, work as well as any of others that are 3 to 4 times costlier. I got it from swanson's in ND and they were really fast, i ordered it by 2pm EST on friday and monday evening it was on my doorsteps.

The other reviewers have already told you how amazing this product is. I will just add a few more imoprtant details. The recommended daily administration is one tablet a day, taken with room temperature water about 20-60 minutes after a meal. I initially took 2 tablets after my afternoon meal, as that was the heaviest meal of my day. I took two tablets because I'm overweight and often need a larger dose of some meds. I took 2 tablets for the first 2 weeks and then cut back to the one tablet a day. I found a decrease in my acid reflux, in stomache irritations, and in yeast problems. I also found a surprising increase in energy and over-all well being. It's such a small amount of money for such large rewards.

Pretty good stuff... Had diarrhea a while back and after going on google to look up some home remedies I came across a website which amongst several remedies mentioned this product. The diarrhea went away but the stomach pains persisted and made me feel like going to the bathroom almost all the time. After doing some more re-search on this product and what could cause me to continue to have an upset stomach I decided to order this product. I placed the 2-day shipping on it so I wouldn't be waiting around for ever for it. After taking it the first day, the upset stomach gradually went away as the day progressed. I honestly forgot what it had to do with the stomach but it helps put back 'good bacteria' into the intestines so that the 'bad bacteria' can be taken out. Well it worked for me and from the other reviews i saw it seems to have helped everyone else with their problems.
